Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Server/Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. This unique dual-role position combines front-of-house service responsibilities with essential financial record-keeping duties, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and possess a keen eye for accuracy. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests. Simultaneously, in your Bookkeeping role, you will maintain accurate financial records, manage invoices, track expenses, and assist in payroll processing. The ideal candidate must be organized, reliable, and capable of balancing multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude. Previous experience in both serving and bookkeeping is highly desirable, along with strong communication skills and proficiency in relevant software applications. Responsibilities

Greet and serve customers promptly and courteously in a professional manner
Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen staff
Process customer payments and handle cash and credit transactions securely
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and service areas
Record daily sales, expenses, and other financial transactions accurately
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and billing
Assist with payroll preparation and reconcile financial statements regularly
Communicate effectively with management regarding inventory levels and financial discrepancies
Support inventory tracking and order supplies as needed

Requirements

Proven experience as a server in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proficiency with bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks or similar
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Good communication skills both verbal and written
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in bookkeeping or accounting is a plus

Pay: £24,420.00-£41,956.44 per year
