Full job description

Overview
We are seeking organised flexible Receptionist/Administrator to join our team. This role involves providing front-desk support, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth daily operations within an office environment of a garage business providing vehicle repairs and MOT services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and prior office experience.

Working hours: 9am to 4pm with 30 minutes lunch break on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Total weekly hours 19.5. Flexibility to cover extra days to cover staff holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently, spreadsheet data input for business management.
Make and maintain customer appointments and booking by telephone and in person.
Handle administrative duties such as repair quotes, parts ordering, stock control.
Ensure the reception area is welcoming at all times.
Support other administrative staff with various tasks as required.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.

Qualifications

Proven office experience or previous administrative experience is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail .
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Friendly, professional demeanour with a positive attitude
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently

Pay: £13,182.00 per year
