Full job description

Bredbury Dental Centre, part of Au Dental, is looking for a Saturday NHS Associate Dentist to join their highly experienced, energetic and forward-looking team.

Saturdays 9am to 3pm.

With 8 surgeries and having undergone a £300k expansion in 2021, Bredbury is a leading provider in the area with excellent facilities.

The group is supported by a finance and marketing department; and focuses heavily on clinical development through its development programme – Au Evolve. We currently comprise approximately 120+ team members across our sites. A number of specialists work in our group from endodontists to implant and oral surgeons that have hospital experience.

Our vision is to make every practice a specialist centre that focuses on the patient experience.

Role:

1000 UDA + private income. We are happy to show redacted data on associate performance. We are implementing a drive behind marketing and online booking.
Days: Saturdays 9am to 3pm available
Established well-maintained NHS and private patient list
Start date ASAP

The Practice:

An experienced and supportive single-site practice manager
A strong lead dentist, Dr. Phil Jackson, who has been at the practice for nearly 20 years.
£12,000+ spent on marketing annually e.g. Google Ads
600+ Google Reviews & a strong focus on patient experience
8 surgery practice with an i-Tero and Trios Scanner
Fully digitalised currently using iPads in every surgery. iPads are used to show portfolios, visual animations and sign treatment plans
A strong Clinical team spearheaded by the Clinical Director, including a lead dentist for every practice.
Long-serving, dedicated and highly experienced team
30 minute drive from Central Manchester and have a train station close by that is only a short walk to.
Practice offers Cosmetic Dentistry, Invisalign, Facial Aesthetics, Implants, Oral Surgery plus Hygienist and Therapist.

Development opportunities within the group:

The practice has support of a Clinical Advisor.
Regular catch-ups with the Clinical Director/ Advisor
Au Evolve, our own training initiative comprising the opportunity to shadow, attend peer reviews and our annual conference.
Associate Development Scheme - course contribution of up to £1,000 available.
Work with clinicians in our group to develop short term orthodontics skills.
Develop facial aesthetics experience.
Opportunity to train to provide sedation
Observe and develop from an experienced minor oral surgeon
Observe and learn implant dentistry from our in-house implantologist

Equipment

Rotary Endodontics as standard
X-rays in every surgery
Sectional matrix for use in posterior composites
Use of a iTero and Trios Scanner (within the company)

All candidates must be registered with the GDC and have an active performer number.
