Job Description

IT Services Lead

Location: Swansea/Cardiff
Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 35 hours – (flexibility required, including occasional out-of-hours)
Start Date: ASAP

We’re looking for a people-focused, collaborative, and confident IT Services Lead to help shape the future of IT service delivery across Redkite. This is an exciting opportunity for someone currently in a Team Lead or Management role who is ready to progress their career, develop their leadership skills, and make a lasting impact. You’ll have a passion for IT innovation, an understanding of AI technologies and their safe adoption, and a desire to drive improvement across IT services.

As a key member of the IT Services team, you’ll lead team coordination, user support, and service delivery, helping to create a proactive, modern, and user-focused IT experience across the firm. With a focus on people, processes, and continuous service improvement rather than infrastructure management, you’ll play a central role in enhancing how IT supports colleagues and the wider business. The role will also require the ability to drive to other Redkite offices as needed to support colleagues, attend meetings, and assist with service delivery across the firm.

What Will You Be Doing?

Supervising and supporting the IT team, helping colleagues prioritise their work, develop their skills, and deliver an outstanding service

Championing innovation and supporting the firm's AI journey, helping colleagues adopt new technologies safely, confidently, and in ways that deliver real value

Creating a positive and responsive support experience for colleagues across the firm, whether assisting face-to-face or remotely

Building strong relationships across the business as a visible, approachable, and trusted IT leader who understands users' needs

Bringing structure, organisation, and a proactive mindset to the day-to-day delivery of IT services

Continuously reviewing and improving processes, administration, and ways of working to make IT more effective and user-focused

Taking ownership of escalated issues, ensuring colleagues feel supported and informed until a successful resolution is reached

Promoting positive technology habits, cyber security awareness, and a culture of shared responsibility across the firm

Playing a key role in IT projects, service improvements, and technology rollouts that enhance the colleague experience

Identifying opportunities to improve how IT supports the business, bringing fresh ideas and practical solutions that drive positive change.

Requirements

Who We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor, or Management role, who thrives on, improving processes and supporting users, rather than managing infrastructure platforms and networks

Strong track record of supporting and coaching users, resolving issues effectively, and delivering an excellent experience

Highly organised, with strong administrative, planning, and coordination skills

Confident, approachable, and a professional communicator who enjoys building relationships with people at all levels

Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Passionate about service improvement, innovation, and finding better ways to support colleagues through technology

Comfortable working across multiple locations and collaborating with a wide range of teams and stakeholders

A good understanding of cyber security best practices and the importance of safe and responsible technology use
