Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Chef to join our culinary team, with the option of live-in accommodation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your culinary skills within a professional environment, contributing to a vibrant dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely service during busy periods
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in all kitchen activities
Organise ingredients and kitchen tools efficiently to optimise workflow
Support the team in plating and presentation of dishes to meet quality expectations
Ensure cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils at all times
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe working environment
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting
Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Knowledge of meal preparation techniques across various cuisines is desirable
Previous restaurant experience or culinary training is advantageous
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Serving experience is a plus, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
