1. JOB PURPOSE
The UK Public Sector & AI Training Executive is responsible for designing, delivering, assessing and continuously improving professional training programmes delivered by BluFocus Solutions Ltd.
The role supports the Company's strategic objective of developing learners' knowledge, skills and employability through high-quality education and training in two core areas:
- UK Civil Service Career Development Programmes
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Skills Training Programmes
The post holder will design structured learning programmes, develop educational resources, deliver engaging training sessions, assess learner progress, maintain quality standards and ensure that programme content reflects current UK employment practices, technological developments and labour market requirements.
The role contributes directly to learner success, curriculum innovation and the continued growth of BluFocus Solutions Ltd's professional education and workforce development services.
2. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. UK Civil Service Career Development Programmes
The post holder will:
- Design, plan and deliver structured training programmes for individuals seeking employment within the UK Civil Service.
- Develop lesson plans, schemes of work and learning resources aligned with the Civil Service Success Profiles Framework.
Deliver training covering Civil Service Behaviours, Strength-Based Interviews, Competency-Based Applications, Personal Statements, Situational Judgement Tests and Assessment Centres.
- Conduct mock interviews and provide constructive feedback to support learner development.
- Assess learner performance against programme objectives and provide personalised development recommendations.
- Monitor learner progress and adapt training methods to meet individual learning needs.
- Maintain accurate learner records, attendance registers and assessment documentation.
B. Artificial Intelligence and Digital Skills Training
The post holder will:
- Design and deliver structured AI and digital skills training programmes for learners seeking employment or career progression.
- Develop practical learning modules covering Artificial Intelligence fundamentals, prompt design, AI productivity tools, workflow automation, digital transformation and responsible AI use.
- Deliver classroom, virtual and blended learning sessions using appropriate educational methodologies.
- Train learners in the effective and ethical application of AI technologies within professional workplaces.
- Assess learner competence through practical exercises, assignments and structured evaluations.
- Review and update programme content to reflect emerging technologies, industry best practice and labour market developments.
C. Curriculum Design and Learning Development
The post holder will:
- Develop curricula, lesson plans, schemes of work and structured learning pathways.
Produce presentations, learner handbooks, assessments, exercises and supporting educational resources.
Establish measurable learning objectives and assessment criteria.
- Review learner feedback and programme outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend curriculum enhancements based on industry trends, technological developments and employer requirements.
- Ensure all training materials remain accurate, relevant and professionally presented.
D. Learner Assessment, Quality Assurance and Compliance
The post holder will:
- Assess learner knowledge, skills and competency using appropriate assessment methods.
- Monitor learner attendance, participation and progression throughout each programme.
- Prepare learner progress reports and development recommendations.
- Maintain accurate assessment records and quality assurance documentation.
- Ensure training delivery complies with company quality standards and relevant UK educational practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance programme quality and learner outcomes.
E. Programme Development and Business Support
The post holder will:
- Identify emerging workforce skills requirements and training opportunities within the UK labour market.
- Contribute to the development of new education and training programmes.
- Support the continuous improvement of existing learning programmes.
- Assist in developing innovative learning solutions incorporating appropriate digital technologies.
Participate in internal planning meetings and contribute to strategic programme development.
Build positive relationships with learners, employers and external stakeholders where appropriate.

4. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should demonstrate:
- A degree or equivalent professional qualification in Education, Business, Information Technology, Digital Technologies, Public Administration or another relevant discipline.
- Experience designing and delivering structured education or professional training programmes.
- Knowledge of UK Civil Service recruitment processes and Success Profiles.
A sound understanding of Artificial Intelligence technologies and their practical workplace applications.
Experience developing educational resources, lesson plans and learner assessments.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing learner groups and monitoring learner progress.
- High levels of digital literacy and proficiency in standard business software.
