Full job description

Based in Cheltenham town centre, M R Ratcliffe Consultants Limited is a specialist insurance broker focusing on the transport industry advising and arranging many different types of insurance cover.

The Company is looking to recruit an Accounts Administrator who will also be responsible for reception duties.

Key Tasks:
Accounts Admin

Reconcile and process Insurance Company accounts using the Sirius (SSP) system

Process and monitor incoming payments and refunds

Liaise with Insurance Companies as required

Maintain accurate records using Excel spreadsheets

Reception

To operate the switchboard in an efficient and professional manner

To welcome visitors to the building and notify relevant staff

To deal with internal and external post and maintain franking machine levels

To order and distribute stationery requirements

Candidates should have:
Experience in basic accounting

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Experience in a similar role

Hours of Work: Monday, Tuesday and Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. with a one hour unpaid lunch break – office based

Holiday: 23 days per annum plus Bank Holidays pro rata

Pension and Death in Service schemes available after a qualifying period
