Your next role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Analyst to support the delivery of the Council’s Swindon Connect transformation programme.
This is an exciting opportunity to help redesign how residents access Council services across phone, online, face-to-face and community channels. You will work across services to identify improvements, analyse processes, define business and technical requirements, and support the delivery of resident-focused digital solutions.
Working closely with service teams, Digital, Data and Technology colleagues, and programme leads, you will help shape future service delivery and ensure decisions are driven by insight, evidence and resident experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities across transformation projects and workstreams.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops and process mapping with service teams.
- Capture, analyse and document business and technical requirements
- Identify service improvement opportunities using data, insight and resident feedback.
- Support benefits monitoring and outcome tracking across the programme.
- Work collaboratively with Digital, Data and Technology teams to support delivery
- Produce clear recommendations, options appraisals and business analysis outputs.
- Support stakeholder engagement across services and partner organisations.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience working as a Business Analyst within transformation or service improvement environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience in process mapping, requirements gathering and workshop facilitation.
- A user-centred mindset with a focus on improving resident outcomes.
- Understanding of digital systems, data and technology-enabled change.
- Experience within local government or public sector environments is desirable.
