Role Overview:

We’re looking for a curious, motivated Social Media Assistant to join our Digital Marketing team. You’ll gain hands-on experience building brand presence, creating content, and engaging with our online community for a fast-growing beverage brand. With training and education from our Social Media Lead.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in a career in social media, trends, and storytelling who wants real-world marketing experience. We’re particularly keen to support someone who enjoys capturing authentic moments and bringing brand stories to life through engaging, original content.

This is a 6-12 months Fixed Term Contract hybrid role, with occasional travel required to our Vauxhall, London and Ashford, Kent locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Social Media Lead with content planning, posting, and scheduling
Help create engaging content (short-form video, photos, captions, stories, etc.)
Capture first-hand content using a smartphone or similar device, including in-the-moment footage that reflects the band’s voice and personality
Contribute to storytelling by documenting products, people, and experiences in a creative and engaging way
Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement
Research trends, hashtags, and competitors in the beverage and lifestyle space
Support content shoots and brainstorm creative campaign ideas
Help track performance metrics and learn how social media success is measured
Participate in team meetings and creative planning sessions

Requirements:

A genuine interest in social media platforms and storytelling
Interest in branding, content creation, or digital marketing
Enthusiasm for capturing and creating content first-hand, including using a smartphone to film and photograph day-to-day brand moments
A creative mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for telling engaging visual stories
Organised, reliable, and eager to learn
Basic understanding of social media and online culture
Bonus: experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, or similar editing apps (you’ll receive guidance and training)

How to collaborate with marketing, creative brand teams, and connect dots others might not see

Salary:

£10.85-£12.71 per hour, in line with National Minimum Wage (age dependant), plus employee benefits package

Working Hours:

Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm including a 1-hour break each day (not included within paid working hours). Some flexibility may be required. Students are encouraged to apply; working arrangements will reflect UK regulations and study commitments where applicable.

6-12 months Fixed Term Contract.
