Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Alloy Wheel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing, refurbishing, and maintaining alloy wheels to the highest standards. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment. The successful applicant will play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Duties

Repair and refurbish alloy wheels, including powder coating
Inspect wheels for damage or defects and determine appropriate repair methods
Use hand tools and power tools to carry out repairs accurately and efficiently
Prepare wheels for refurbishment by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
Operate specialised equipment safely following health and safety protocols
Assist with the maintenance of workshop tools and machinery
Ensure all work is completed within specified timeframes while maintaining quality standards
Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive or wheel repair industries
Tyre removal knowledge
Skilled in operating power tools including grinders, drills, and sanders
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling wheels or equipment
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision workmanship
Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to workshop environments
