Salary: £35.000.00
Location: Coniston and surrounding areas

Reports to: Board of Directors
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Driving Required: Yes – Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and support a team of carers and senior carers to deliver outstanding care.
Ensure care delivery meets CQC Fundamental Standards and all regulatory requirements.
Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and reviews for all service users.
Conduct audits and quality checks, implementing improvements where needed.
Support recruitment, supervision, and ongoing staff development.
Maintain compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection legislation.
Liaise effectively with service users, families, professionals, and external agencies.
Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture within the care team.

Essential Requirements:

NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (minimum).
At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or senior care role.
Knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and the Care Act 2014.
Enhanced DBS check.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call when required.

Desirable:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
Experience managing domiciliary or residential care services.
Proficiency with electronic care management systems.
