Full job description

We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Coffee Shop Assistant to join our team at The Meadows Wildlife Park.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, customer-focused environment and doesn't mind getting stuck in wherever needed.

Working Hours

Summer Holidays: Casual hours, including weekdays and weekends as required.
From September: Monday-Friday, 11:30am-3:30pm to support our weekday term-time visits.

What You'll Be Doing

Serving customers with a friendly, welcoming attitude.
Preparing hot and cold drinks.
Making light food items.
Operating the till and handling card payments.
Keeping the coffee shop clean, tidy and well stocked.
Washing up and assisting with general kitchen duties.
Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
Working as part of a supportive, fast-paced team.

Friendly and approachable.
Reliable and punctual.
Confident working in a busy environment.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Barista experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
