As our Kitchen & Hospitality Coordinator, you'll have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping and supporting this next chapter of growth.

You'll take ownership of our kitchen and hospitality operations, helping to create a welcoming environment for visitors while alsoplaying a key role in the continued growth of the facility and the charity behind it.
About the job.
This is a 12 month fixed contract role, although it is our expectation for it to become a permanent position after this time.

Kitchen & hospitality operations
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and hospitality areas.
- Prepare and serve refreshments during fixtures, events and community activities.
- Ensure hospitality areas are welcoming, organised and professionally presented.
- Support hospitality requirements for players, officials, volunteers and visitors.
Food safety & compliance
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety.
- Complete food safety records, cleaning schedules and compliance checks.
- Ensure kitchen, storage and serving areas remain safe, clean and well maintained.
Stock & Supplier Management
- Manage stock levels and place orders as required.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor stock usage and minimise waste.
Supporting the wider charity
- Provide operational and administrative support during quieter periods and throughout the off-season.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support events, activities and community programmes.
- Contribute to the smooth running and continued development of The Hand Stadium.
About you.

Essential requirements
Our kitchen and hospitality coordinator needs to:
- Have experience working within a kitchen, café, catering or busy hospitality environment.
- A good understanding of food hygiene and safe working practices.
- Have strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
Flexible working is essential!
Currently, this role is expected to require approximately 15 hours per week. It also relies upon flexibility around fixtures, site events and seasonal demands.
The successful candidate must be available for:
- Saturday fixtures.
- Sunday fixtures when scheduled.
- Midweek evening fixtures throughout the football season.
Additional hours may be available during tournaments, events and other busy periods.
Desirable
Ideally, you will also have
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above).
- Experience managing stock and placing orders.
- Experience working within a sports, leisure, charity or community environment.
