Drumpellier Golf Club – Assistant Greenkeeper

We are seeking an Assistant Greenkeeper to join our enthusiastic and forward thinking team at a busy member’s golf club.

This role requires an experienced and motivated person with a strong work ethic looking for a new challenge.

This is a full-time contract based on a 39 hours per week on a rota which includes weekends.

Requirements and experience:

A minimum of 2 years’ green keeping experience.
NVQ 2 or equivalent in sports turf maintenance.
Able to mow all playing surfaces to a high and presentable standard.
Experience with aeration practices.
Spraying and chainsaw licences are desirable.
Preparing & maintaining machinery.
Ability to set up the golf course in accordance with the rules of golf i.e. changing holes and moving tee markers.
An understanding and mindset towards health and safety.
Good time management.
An ability to work well in a team and also the ability to use your own initiative when needed.
Knowledge of golf and interest in playing the game.
A full driving licence.
