Southern Tyreco Ltd, trading as Setyres, is a well-established, family-run business with over 60 years of experience in the tyre industry. With a network of wholesale, retail, and commercial depots across the South East of England, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a strong reputation within the local community.

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Semi-Skilled Mechanic / Tyre Fitter to join our busy team at our Freeport branch.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Fitting and repairing car and light commercial vehicle tyres
Carrying out wheel balancing and tyre-related services
Performing light mechanical repairs and maintenance
Delivering excellent customer service
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
Supporting colleagues in the day-to-day operation of the branch

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this position, you should have:

Previous experience within the tyre industry
Experience fitting car and light commercial vehicle tyres
Knowledge and experience of light mechanical work
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Good communication and customer service skills
A full UK driving licence (minor penalty points may be considered)
