Overview
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Multi Skilled Tradesman/woman to join our dynamic team. This role involves working across various trades to support construction, renovation, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set, including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, and fabrication. Duties
- Undertake carpentry tasks such as framing, finishing, and installing fixtures
- Conduct roofing repairs and installations with attention to safety and quality standards
- Perform construction painting to prepare surfaces and ensure aesthetic finishes
- Carry out plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance in line with project specifications
- Execute masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing
- Operate welding equipment for fabrication and repair purposes
- Assist with electrical tasks such as wiring, conduit installation, and troubleshooting (where qualified)
- Utilise hand tools and power tools efficiently across various trades
- Fabricate custom components or structures as required for projects
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
Requirements
- Proven experience across multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, or fabrication
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to various trades
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures within construction environments
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent organisational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in trades are preferred but not essential if demonstrated experience is substantial
- A valid UK driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory
