Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. The Kitchen Porter plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the culinary staff. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment while contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
Support chefs during service by ensuring all necessary ingredients and tools are readily available
Keep work areas tidy and sanitised in accordance with health and safety regulations
Dispose of waste properly and assist in recycling efforts
Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
Basic food preparation skills and knowledge of cooking techniques are
