Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced chefs to develop their skills within a professional kitchen environment, contributing to memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food items in accordance with recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or sauces, ensuring smooth operation during service
Assist in the development of new dishes and menu items in collaboration with the head chef
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work stations in compliance with food safety regulations
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure ingredients are fresh and available
Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and training where necessary
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards at all times during food preparation and service

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a busy restaurant environment
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and hygiene standards
Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role is preferred
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications are advantageous but not essential
A passion for creating high-quality dishes and delivering exceptional customer service
