Full job description

The Cottage Day Nursery – Bedford Street are looking for a Qualified Baby Room Practitioner.

If you are passionate about providing quality care to young children and are looking for a rewarding opportunity in a nurturing environment, we encourage you to apply for the positions advertised.

You will be joining a ‘mature’, well-trained team that is devoted to its role and purpose.

Level 3 positions are available, each with flexible working patterns and benefits to suit you.

Salary: Dependant on experience, hourly rates of £12.71 to £16.00.

Holidays: 31 days per year, including bank holidays. In addition, the Company may offer one paid Moving Day where a staff member is relocating their primary residence, subject to approval and company policy terms

Criteria that be met:

- Full & relevant Level 3 qualification as a minimum is required - if you are unsure please check here...https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-qualifications-achieved-in-england#full-publication-update-history
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and current Statutory Guidance.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children

Applications must meet the above criteria.

DBS Update Service preferred, if not, then The Cottage will fund, terms apply.

Plus two references that show no Safeguarding issues/concerns.
