Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled 360 excavator operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to assist with excavation, site preparation, and other earth-moving tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with relevant experience to contribute to large-scale projects while developing their skills further.

Responsibilities

Operate 360 excavators safely and efficiently across various construction sites
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance
Assist with site clearance, digging, trenching, and loading operations as required
Follow all health and safety regulations to minimise risks on-site
Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines
Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment usage
Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to supervisors

Experience

Proven experience operating 360 excavators in a construction environment
Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery and troubleshooting skills
Experience with commercial driving licences is advantageous but not essential
Familiarity with site safety protocols and procedures
Prior experience working on large-scale construction projects is preferred

Pay: £21.00-£22.00 per hour
