Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Ground Worker to join our team, supporting various ground work, construction, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, practical skills in Construction, and the ability to operate a range of tools and equipment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in outdoor work, groundworks, and construction activities to develop their skills within a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with Concreting foundations, Below DPC block work.
Operate hand tools such as shovels, and rakes to support site preparation and ongoing projects
Use power tools and machinery including excavators for excavation and site clearance tasks
Carry out general maintenance tasks on-site to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency
Adhere to all health and safety.
Assist with construction activities such as groundwork preparation and material handling
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are stored safely after use

Experience

Previous experience in ground works is essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Mechanical knowledge or experience operating machinery such as excavators is advantageous
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques is beneficial
A proactive attitude with the ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively within a team is essential
