Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and well organised individual to join an already established small team in Maternity ultrasound bookings located in Maternity Ultrasound at Musgrove Park hospital. Both are part time roles:
30 hours per week on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 08:30 - 16:30
This role involves providing high quality bookings service for patients and in line with internal guidelines and within national targets.
This is a very busy role with a high volume of calls and would suit a customer care driven individual who is able to use their initiative and have the ability to cope with the demands of the service and work effectively as a team member

Main duties, tasks & skills required
To be the first point of contact answering inbound calls/making outbound calls to patients, referrers, relatives, carers and other members of staff routinely throughout each day.
Proactively engage with clinicians/GPs/staff and patients to enable effective patient flow through the pathway.
To manage patient lists operating in accordance with national and local targets ensuring efficient and effective use of out-patient slots.
