Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Salaried General Practitioner (GP) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care across a variety of settings, including primary care clinics, nursing homes, and community health programmes. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your clinical expertise while contributing to patient well-being and public health initiatives. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong clinical skills, excellent patient communication, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient consultations, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions with evidence-based approaches
Administer medications safely and appropriately, ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines
Perform or oversee diagnostic procedures such as medical imaging and laboratory tests
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care, especially in nursing home, hospice, and home care settings
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
Engage in clinical research projects or public health initiatives as required
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff and healthcare assistants
Stay updated with the latest medical developments and integrate new knowledge into practice

Skills

Proven experience in general practice with a strong foundation in patient care
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to general medicine
Experience in specialised areas such as ICU, senior care, hospice care, or home care is advantageous
Familiarity with clinical research methodologies and public health principles
Competence in interpreting medical imaging results and administering medications accurately
Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathise with diverse patient populations
Organised approach to managing multiple cases efficiently under pressure
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining professional independence
