Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to provide essential administrative support within our legal team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing case files, preparing legal documents, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and legal professionals. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational and analysis skills to develop their career within a professional legal environment. Responsibilities

Draft, proofread, and file legal documents, correspondence, and reports with accuracy and attention to detail
Manage and organise case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible
Schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings, coordinating effectively with clients and legal staff
Provide excellent customer service by responding to client inquiries promptly and professionally
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
Assist with administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and data entry
Liaise with external agencies, courts, and other stakeholders as required
Support the legal team with research and analysis tasks to facilitate case preparation

Experience

Previous administrative experience within a legal or professional environment is preferred
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
Excellent analysis skills to interpret legal documents and information accurately
Proven customer service skills to maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues
Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy setting
