The Role
We are looking for an experienced Marble / Granite Polisher to join our workshop team on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on role working with natural stone and engineered (man-made) stone, producing high-quality finished surfaces for a range of bespoke projects.
The successful candidate will have previous experience polishing marble, granite and engineered stone, with the ability to work accurately from technical drawings and measurements.
Key Responsibilities
- Polish marble, granite and engineered stone slabs to a high-quality finish.
- Shape and finish corners, edges and bespoke features.
- Operate polishing and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and measurements accurately.
- Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Work closely with the production team to meet project deadlines.
Requirement
- Previous experience as a marble, granite or stone polisher is essential.
- Experience working with engineered (man-made) stone slabs.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Available to start ASAP.
- Happy to commute to our workshop in RG23 8TH.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
