Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the hospitality industry to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. Previous restaurant experience and a strong knowledge of food safety standards are highly desirable. The successful applicant will be well-organised, possess excellent time management skills, and have a genuine enthusiasm for serving others.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with company standards.
Take orders accurately and deliver prompt service to optimise guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations at all times.
Manage cash register operations, handle payments efficiently, and provide correct change.
Engage with guests in a friendly manner, fostering a welcoming environment.
Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages.
Assist with setting up the bar before service hours and closing procedures afterwards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
Excellent serving skills with the ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Good organisational skills with effective time management abilities.
Friendly, approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A valid personal licence or willingness to obtain one is advantageous but not essential. This role offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your hospitality expertise while delivering exceptional service to our guests.
