Full job description

We are a small, fast growing fashion retail business, selling clothing online. We despatch orders daily (Weekdays) from our busy warehouse in Thrupp, Stroud.

We are looking for a Part-Time Assistant to join us in a varied role that covers a range of tasks. Hours are flexible 17-22 hrs per week, to work around children or other commitments. There is no heavy lifting, but the role requires a reasonable level of fitness, and the ability to be on your feet for a few hours each day.

Responsibilities

Picking and packing orders daily (approx 50 per day)
Manage customer returns and exchanges
Handle customer enquiries via email and incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
New stock in - new stock arrives almost daily - unpacking, folding, bagging, labelling
Data entry - adding new stock to our system
Work with our inventory system to manage our products and stock levels (Full training given)
Manage warehouse layout, moving stock to accommodate new stock.

Skills

Understanding of warehouse operations, picking/packing, stock in, etc
Customer Service skills, with a desire to help resolve issues quickly.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Experience of online retail and/or stock control.
Shopify / Amazon / Ebay or product data management would be a distinct advantage.
