About the Role
As our Business Development Manager, you will drive aggressive new client acquisition across the UK SME and Mid-Market sectors. This is a pure "hunter" role, ideal for someone who thrives on identifying, nurturing, and closing new business opportunities for digital marketing, web development, SEO, and GEO services.
You will be responsible for building a high-value sales pipeline, opening doors with decision-makers, and converting opportunities into long-term client partnerships. This role offers significant autonomy and is suited to an ambitious sales professional who enjoys creating opportunities from scratch and driving sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities across SMEs and mid-market organisations throughout London and the South-East.
- Build and manage a high-performance sales pipeline through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, and outbound outreach.
- Generate new opportunities through a combination of warm leads, cold outreach, social selling, networking events, and strategic partnerships.
- Leverage AI-powered sales and marketing tools to enhance prospecting, lead research, outreach, and personalised engagement.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from initial discovery and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract close.
- Work closely with Marketing, SEO, Web Development, and Client Success teams to create compelling client solutions and proposals.
- Educate prospective clients on the value of website development, SEO, GEO, content marketing, conversion optimisation, and digital growth strategies.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reporting, and revenue forecasts.
- Represent the agency at networking events, industry conferences, business groups, and partner engagements.
- Identify emerging market trends, competitive opportunities, and areas for service expansion.
About You
- Proven success in business development, sales, or account acquisition within a digital marketing agency, web development agency, SEO agency, or related technology services environment.
- Demonstrable track record of winning new business and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling consultative, solution-based services with medium to long sales cycles.

- Ability to understand client challenges and translate them into effective digital solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
