Job Introduction

Starting salary for this role is £44,075 (pro rata for part-time colleagues)

This role sits within a well defined pay band, offering clear progression as you grow your career at BCP. Housing Options Team Manager

Working in the Strategic Housing Options Team at BCP is incredibly fulfilling. As a Housing Options Team Manager, you'll be part of a large team of dedicated Senior Officers who are committed to helping our staff achieve their full potential. This role is not just about supporting our colleagues but also about making a real difference in the lives of our customers, helping them to maintain their homes and improve their situations. Our team's efforts have been recognized nationally, with awards highlighting our exceptional partnership working and innovative apprenticeship learning programme, both of which you will be actively involved in and support. It's a role that offers both personal and professional satisfaction, with the opportunity to be part of a supportive and successful team

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the Housing Options Team as a Housing Options Team Manager.

12month contract

Could you support positive change in people’s lives?

If you can:

Supervise a team of housing practitioners delivering housing advice and homelessness support
Help to motivate and guide teams to deliver person centred support for customers that are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
Assist in the delivery of and development of homelessness services within BCP
Communicate effectively with customers, face to face and over the phone to maximise engagement and positive housing and support outcomes
Work with a varied workload, and be able to juggle ever changing priorities
Represent Housing Services at case conferences and multi-agency meetings
Develop and maintain partnerships with relevant agencies to ensure holistic support for customers to access and maintain accommodation.
Understand the Homelessness Reduction Act and guide teams to proactively work to prevent homelessness.
