Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Electrician will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical infrastructure.

Duties

Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools to diagnose faults accurately.
Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.
Repair or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and other electrical components as needed.
Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete electrical projects on time and within budget.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out.
Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety legislation and company policies.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters.
Experience working with power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A valid UK driving licence is desirable but not essential. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their career within a reputable organisation committed to safety and quality workmanship.
