An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Health Care Assistant to work with the Community Night Nursing Team, as part of the Integrated Care Community (ICC) you will be predominantly based at West Cumberland Hospital working within the Allerdale Night Nursing Service. You will be providing care to patients in their own home setting, which is often remote and rural areas of our ICC.

ICCs aim to address the challenges of an aging population and increasing demand on health and care services by providing more out of hospital care and empowering people to take control of their health and wellbeing. This will require new ways of working to focus on preventing ill health and ensure services are sustainable for the future.

This role requires you to demonstrate the skills and knowledge to support the provision of high quality care, to support patients with complex needs within the community setting.

We currently have a 36 hrs per week, permanent position available.

Daily working hours are between 8:30 and 23:00.

As a Health Care Assistant, working under the direction of a registered health care professional, undertake a range of delegated patient nursing and care duties including clinical observations and recording patient information. Working largely alone and unsupervised.
