Full job description

Service Engineer – Refrigeration, Catering Equipment, or Espresso Machines

We are seeking a motivated Service Engineer to join our established business. The ideal candidate will have experience in at least one of the following areas:

Refrigeration repairs and maintenance
Electrical catering equipment servicing
Espresso machine installation, repair, and maintenance

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to broaden their technical expertise. We provide comprehensive on-site training and support to help develop skills across additional equipment types and technologies.

Duties

Installation and setup of commercial espresso machines and grinders at customer sites
Routine maintenance and servicing both on-site and within a 2-hour radius of the company office and workshop.
Coordinating service calls and installations with subcontractor partners across the UK
Diagnosing and repairing espresso machines and grinders & milk coolers
Providing technical support to customers via phone and email
Maintaining accurate service records and reports
Delivering excellent customer service and technical advice

Experience

This role would be ideal for a refrigeration engineer seeking to broaden their expertise and develop their knowledge of coffee equipment
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
Experience working with espresso machines is desirable but not essential.
Knowledge of safety standards and procedures relevant to refrigeration and beverage engineering roles.

Working Hours

This role does not require weekend or evening work.

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am – 3:30pm

The position is primarily based at our offices in Colne, BB8, although we are open to discussing flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
