Role: Weighbridge Operator / Order Processing Customer Support

Salary: £35,000 Pro Rata

Hours: Part Time

Location: Tealing, By Dundee, DD4 0QB

We are looking for a Weighbridge Operator / Order Processing Customer Support to join our team at Petterden. This is a key role within our site operations where you will be responsible for managing weighbridge activity, processing orders, and ensuring all site transactions are recorded accurately.

You will act as a central point of contact between drivers, customers, and the wider operations team, so your attention to detail and ability to manage a busy workload is essential.

Job Activities:

Welcome, with a professional and friendly approach, all drivers and visitors to site
Accurately weigh vehicles in and out using the weighbridge system
Create, record and process orders onto internal systems in a timely manner
Ensure all documentation is completed correctly, including tickets and transfer notes
Liaise with drivers, customers, and site staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Handle general enquiries both face-to-face and over the phone
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures
Support with administrative duties relating to site operations
Work closely with the wider team to ensure efficient running of the site
Demonstrate a positive approach to change and continuous improvement

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential
Previous experience in an administrative or weighbridge role is desirable
Confident IT skills, including experience using Microsoft packages
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
Strong communication skills with a professional manner
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Organised and proactive approach to workload
A positive and flexible attitude towards work
