Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Wealth Planning Assistant to support our financial advisory team. This paid role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within the financial services sector, assisting with client planning, report preparation, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen interest in financial planning. This position is suitable for individuals looking to develop their career in finance or related fields.

Duties

Assist with the preparation of detailed financial reports and analysis documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Support the team in conducting analysis to inform wealth management strategies and client recommendations.
Organise client files and maintain accurate records of financial plans and correspondence.
Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client enquiries professionally and promptly.
Help coordinate meetings, appointments, and follow-up actions to ensure smooth workflow.
Contribute to report writing tasks, summarising complex financial data into clear, concise documents.
Support the team with administrative duties including data entry, document management, and IT-related tasks.
Maintain organisational standards by managing time efficiently and prioritising tasks effectively.

Experience

Previous administrative experience within a financial services environment is desirable but not essential.
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with IT systems is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional approach when dealing with clients and colleagues.
Experience in report writing and financial planning processes is beneficial but not mandatory.
Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices is preferred. This role offers a supportive environment for professional growth within wealth management and financial planning sectors. The successful candidate will be integral to delivering high-quality service to clients while developing essential industry skills.
