Full job description

A.W. Jenkinson Transport Ltd. is looking for a Fleet Administrator to join the team at our Grangemouth depot.

Joining A.W. Jenkinson Transport Limited will provide you with the opportunity to be part of a growing and modernising business. We are continually investing in our fleet and operations to ensure our team have the tools and systems on hand to best service our customers. Hours of work are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday, inclusive, but can be discussed during the interview.

Key responsibilities:

· Keeping accurate records for the Fleet Operations & Maintenance teams

· Ensuring vehicle files are kept up to date (defects / inspection reports / job cards)

· Co-ordinating driver absence levels (holidays & sickness)

· Co-ordinating availability of relief drivers and appropriate cover levels

· Compiling driver pre-employment documents

· Generating fleet utilisation reports

· Communicating directly with drivers & colleagues from all departments

Requirements:

· Excellent communicator

· Confident personality

· Flexible ‘can do’ attitude

· Good IT skills (excel / word / outlook)

· Professional manner

Previous experience in a similar role within a Transport environment would be a strong advantage.
