As a business, we are able to offer complete solutions from client brief to finished product. This includes full CAD design from concept to engineering drawings.
Our manufacturing capabilities enable rapid prototyping, production and testing using some of the latest machinery in component manufacturing.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who has previous experience within the industry and great attention to detail. This job role offers a wide variety of work and can be intense at times with numerous jobs running adjacent to one another. Therefore, the individual needs to work well under pressure and enjoy working with fabricated assemblies and manufacturing drawings.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be part of the team manufacturing our products.
- Carrying out all tasks relating to welding and fabrication.
- Reading and interpreting engineering/manufacturing drawings to ensure accurate and high-quality components.
- Working alongside the Quality Assurance Manager and Quality Inspector to ensure quality control checks are carried out efficiently and on time.
- Using a variety of metalworking machinery and hand tools. Including guillotines, band saws, pillar drills, rollers.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Competent in English, Maths.
- Minimum entry, relevent industry experience.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a high level of concentration, even under pressure.
- Self sufficient with engineering/manufacturing drawings.
- Experienced with the use of metalworking machinery and hand tools.
- Minimum of 2 years in the industry as a welder/ sheet metal fabricator.
- Must be enthusiastic and self-motivated.
- Must be able to adapt quickly and manage daily workload with prior instruction.
- Great communication skills and a positive attitude towards safety and others.
Package
Starting salary is £15.00 per hour with a review after the 12 week probationary period. This shall be based on previous experience and the individual’s abilities.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:30
- Friday 07:30 – 12:30
Overtime available based on customer demands and workload.
