MAIN DUTIES

Good Receiving Warehouse

Receive, check, and verify all incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes
Inspect goods for quality issues and raise non-conformance reports accordingly
Log all receipts accurately into the warehouse management system
Direct and supervise the placement of stock into designated locations, ensuring proper labelling and FIFO compliance

Finished Goods Warehouse

Oversee the storage, organisation, and security of finished goods parts
Ensure accurate picking, packing and labelling of customer orders in line with schedules
Monitor stock levels, perform regular cycle counts and full stock takes, and investigate discrepancies
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely loading and dispatch of all products

Team and Operations Management

Supervise, train and schedule warehouse operatives across both areas
Enforce company policies, Health and Safety regulations and site security rules always
Identify and implement improvement ideas to workflow, layout and efficiency
Manage all handling equipment safety checks (forklifts, pallet trucks etc) and ensure only trained personnel use them

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Previous experience working in a warehouse environment, with 2-3 years in a supervisory or team leader role
Knowledge of goods receiving and finished goods
Good computer literacy – experience with WMS and Excel essential
