Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our specialised healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to paediatric patients, supporting their development and functional independence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary environment, delivering patient-centred care that promotes positive outcomes for children with diverse needs. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of paediatric patients to identify their individual needs and develop tailored therapy plans.
Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions aimed at improving motor skills, sensory processing, education and daily living activities.
Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care strategies.
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimise outcomes.
Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies to support ongoing development at home.
Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with professional standards and organisational policies.
Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and continuous professional development activities to stay current with best practices.

Qualifications

Qualified Occupational Therapist with registration recognised by relevant professional bodies.
Proven experience working with paediatric populations, ideally within school or critical care settings.
Knowledge of speech therapy, physiology, SEND
Experience in case management and patient care coordination is desirable.
Demonstrated ability to apply clinical reasoning within complex educational contexts
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and healthcare teams.
