The Role

Blackpool and Fylde college are looking for a catering chef/supervisor based at Bispham Campus.

Key Responsibilities

To operationally manage one or more of the College catering outlets which may include, but not be limited to:

Staff supervision.
Orders and receipt of deliveries.
Finance, stock management, portion control and wastage.
Gross profit margins
Preparing and cooking, imaginative and healthy quality food.

To maintain a high level of customer service with special regard to consistency and presentation.
To ensure compliance with the requirements of food hygiene regulations, Health & Safety, COSHH regulations, risk management practices and allergy regulations.
To ensure documentation for internal monitoring systems are completed including temperature sheets and Hazard analysis critical control points etc. to demonstrate due diligence enabling B&FC to maintain Grade 5 Food Safety.
- To balance and bank income from the outlet(s) as per B&FC financial regulations.
- To be flexible able to work across all sites, evening and weekends
