Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Bike Rider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and delivering ice cream to our local spots, as well as moving , collecting, and maintinging our ice cream bikes. You enjoy working outdoors and have a passion for providing outstanding service. Be trustworthy and capable of working unsupervised, as well as know the bike routes through the city.

Responsibilities

Deliver packages, food, or other items to customers promptly and accurately within assigned routes
Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and in accordance with traffic regulations
Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details and address any queries or concerns
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the bicycle, conducting regular checks and reporting any issues promptly
Keep accurate records of deliveries made, including times, locations, and any special instructions
Follow company policies and procedures to ensure high standards of service are maintained at all times

Experience

Previous experience in customer service or delivery roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
Ability to navigate using maps or GPS devices efficiently
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during shifts
Physical fitness or the wish to get fitter to handle the demands of cycling over varying distances and terrains

This position is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a dynamic role that combines outdoor activity with excellent communication, problem solving and engagement. Applicants should possess a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Pay: From £12.80 per hour
