Overview
We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician to join our vibrant beauty salon. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional nail services and enhancing clients' overall experience. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your skills in a dynamic environment, providing a range of beauty treatments while fostering strong guest relationships. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail care, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and supporting the salon’s reputation for excellence. A background in management, social media management, and customer service will be advantageous in this role.

Responsibilities

Providing expert nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and nail art
Assisting clients with personalised consultations to recommend suitable services and colour choices
Maintaining a clean and hygienic work station in accordance with health and safety regulations
Managing appointment schedules efficiently to optimise client flow
Upselling additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, or deep tissue massage where appropriate
Engaging with clients to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable experience
Managing social media accounts to promote salon services, special offers, and showcase work
Handling front desk duties including greeting guests, booking appointments, and processing payments
Supporting the team with guest services to ensure high levels of satisfaction
Participating in ongoing training programmes to stay updated with industry trends and techniques

Skills

Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role within the beauty industry
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients effectively
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Experience in management or team leadership is desirable
Proficiency in social media management for promotional purposes
Knowledge of eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other beauty treatments such as deep tissue massage is advantageous
Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining client trust
Experience in hospitality or guest services is beneficial
Good organisational skills to manage appointments and maintain cleanliness standards
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating strong individual initiative
