The Role
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and proactive Construction Labourer / General Operative to join our growing team.
This role is suited to somebody who takes pride in their work, can think for themselves and understands the importance of keeping a project moving efficiently.
The successful candidate will be expected to assist skilled tradespeople, carry out general site duties and identify productive tasks without requiring constant instruction throughout the day.
We are looking for somebody who can become a valuable member of the team, work safely, communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
Responsibilities
- Assist tradespeople with day-to-day construction activities.
- Prepare work areas and maintain a clean, organised site.
- Load, unload and move materials.
- Carry out demolition, strip-out and clearance works.
- Assist with fire, flood and escape of water reinstatement projects.
- Help protect clients' properties and maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Operate hand and power tools safely.
- Identify tasks that need completing and work proactively.
- Assist with deliveries, collections and site logistics.
- Work professionally within occupied residential properties.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years construction experience.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work without constant supervision.
- Good understanding of construction sites and site safety.
- Physically fit and willing to undertake manual work.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Own reliable transport is essential.
- Fluent English.
- Willingness to travel throughout Surrey, Sussex, Kent and surrounding areas.
- CSCS card preferred.

Important Information
- Based in or near Horley RH6 preferred.
- Travel throughout the Home Counties is required.
- Occasional Saturday work may be required.
- No agencies.
Pay: £130.00-£150.00 per day
