Job Title: Metalwork Fabricator

Hours: 39 hours per week, with overtime opportunities regularly available
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Metalwork Fabricator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing a range of metal products and structures to high quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fabricator who takes pride in precision workmanship and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, fabrication plans, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal components using appropriate tools and machinery.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding to required standards.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet customer and company standards.
- Work with mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and other metals as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and UK workplace regulations.
- Assist with installation work on-site when required.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and project teams.
Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience as a Metalwork Fabricator or Welder Fabricator.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Competence in MIG welding (TIG welding experience advantageous).
- Experience using fabrication machinery and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Relevant engineering, fabrication, or welding qualifications.
- CSCS card.
- Forklift licence.
- Experience with architectural metalwork, structural steelwork, or bespoke fabrication projects.
- Full UK driving licence.
