About FRIO UK

FRIO UK Ltd is a well-established, family-run manufacturing business based in West Wales. We manufacture and supply FRIO medication cooling wallets, which are trusted by customers across the world to help keep temperature-sensitive medication safe when travelling, working, or managing daily life.

As an international business with a strong reputation for quality, customer service and innovation, FRIO UK works with customers, distributors, healthcare professionals and partner organisations across the UK and overseas.

We are now looking for a capable, organised and proactive individual to join our team in a varied business development and administrative support role.

The Role

This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running and continued development of FRIO UK. The successful candidate will assist with customer enquiries, order processing, administration, marketing support, website updates, distributor communication and general business development tasks.

As this is a varied role, the successful candidate will need to be confident managing their own workload, prioritising tasks effectively and adapting to ad hoc requests as they arise.

While the role will primarily be based within FRIO UK, there may also be occasional administrative, marketing or project support required for other associated businesses within the wider family business group. This makes the position ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is adaptable, and is happy to support different areas of the business when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Duties may include:

Responding to customer enquiries by email and telephone in a professional and helpful manner
Occasional processing of orders, invoices, quotes and customer account information
Supporting wholesale, distributor and export customer communication
Assisting with website updates, product information and online content
Helping with marketing activity, social media content and promotional campaigns
Preparing documents, forms, spreadsheets and reports
Liaising with suppliers, customers, distributors and external partners
Supporting product development, research and general business development projects
Assisting with trade enquiries and potential new business opportunities
Helping to maintain organised office systems, records and processes
Supporting grant applications, awards submissions or business documentation where required
Providing occasional administrative or marketing support to associated businesses within the wider group

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, friendly, organised and confident working across a range of tasks. The role would suit someone who enjoys problem-solving, communicates well and is happy to take ownership of their work.

The ideal candidate will have:

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email and spreadsheets
The ability to manage their own day-to-day workload and prioritise tasks effectively
A flexible and proactive approach to ad hoc tasks and changing priorities
A professional and friendly approach to customers and colleagues
Confidence working independently as well as part of a team
A willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks
Flexibility and adaptability in a varied working environment

Experience with websites, social media, CRM systems, export administration, grant applications or business development would be advantageous, but full training can be provided for the right person.
