Welcome to Goldcrest Cleaning Services

Position: Cleaning Operative – Whiteley – 7.5 - 10 hours per week

Goldcrest Cleaning Services is a well-established commercial cleaning and building maintenance company based in Waterlooville, operating across Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex. Our reputation is built on doing the basics exceptionally well—reliable attendance, consistently high cleaning standards, and professional teams who take pride in their work. We invest in our staff through training, the right equipment, and clear expectations, and we work to recognised industry best practice around health & safety, site security and quality assurance.

We’re currently recruiting one Cleaner to join our evening cleaning team at a client site in Whiteley.

Working hours

There are 2 open positions at this site - please state in the questions which position you are applying for - Morning or Afternoon

MORNING POSITION

Monday to Friday 7:30am - 9:00am
Total: 7.5 hours per week

AFTERNOON POSITION

Monday to Friday 3:00pm - 5:00pm
Total: 10 hours per week

The role

Working as part of a team, you’ll complete daily cleaning duties at welfare cabins to a construction firm, to a high standard, helping to ensure the site is clean, safe, and ready for use by the on site workers. Tasks will include:

Vacuuming and mopping floors
Cleaning office areas
Cleaning kitchens and welfare areas
Cleaning toilets and washrooms

All cleaning materials and equipment are provided on site. Uniform (T-shirts and jacket) is also provided.

Training and support

At Goldcrest, we invest in our people and provide the tools, training, and support needed to succeed. Full training will be provided, although previous cleaning experience is preferred.

Person specification

We’re looking for someone who is:

Reliable and punctual
Organised and able to work methodically
Detail-focused, with consistently high standards
Self-motivated and able to work as part of a small team
Eligible to live and work in the UK
Able to provide a proven cleaning track record (preferred)
Willing to undertake occasional overtime when required

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
