Job Introduction

About Us

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data and Insight Analyst to support the data driven ambitions of the South East Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (SE ADASS). SE ADASS is a collaborative partnership of the 18 directors of adult social care across the South East (SE), with a small regional team hosted by Oxfordshire County Council. This role will focus on support to SE ADASS but you will be working as part of the wider Adults Services Data team with the Data Office in at Oxfordshire County Council.

About the Role

The SE ADASS team is seeking a data and insight analyst to work in partnership with our councils in the SE region and other key stakeholders to drive innovation, foster continuous improvement, and champion the effective use of data and intelligence throughout adult social care in the South East region.

About you

You will have experience of working accurately and analytically with data to a high level, have the ability to manage a busy workload, work independently and prioritise.

Key elements of the job include:

Work with the SE ADASS regional team, and with performance, finance and other senior leads of the 18 Adult Social Care authorities in the South East to collect, analyse and use information and insight to drive service improvement and innovation
Lead on the maintenance and ongoing development of a PowerBI quarterly regional performance dashboard and an agreed performance framework
Work with Local Authorities (LAs) to encourage full completion of the data sets and understand any challenges for LAs in completing and using the data set
Escalate any challenges from LAs with capturing data in a timely fashion
Analyse regional finance, activity and performance data provided by SE LAs
Identify trends and issues for SE ADASS consideration and provide quarterly updates to DASSs
Support the SE ADASS work programme offer through the provision of data for regional groups and networks
Support opportunities to better understand performance across the region and support learning and improvement
Support the standardisation of measures where possible, to achieve greater consistency across the region
Support, review and develop new measures and areas of work, aligned with any new frameworks and emerging issues
Promote collaboration and networking across the SE region
