About the role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Customer Operations Executive to join our team and play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience from order through to fulfilment.
This is a customer-facing position with a strong focus on sales order processing, customer communication and order management, working closely with the Customer Care Manager, Sales Team and Warehouse.
You will take ownership of the order journey, ensuring accuracy, timely updates and smooth coordination across departments. Over time, you will also gain exposure to purchasing, supplier coordination and logistics, supporting the wider operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining customer interaction with operational accuracy, and who wants to develop broader commercial and supply chain skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer experience and issue resolution
Act as the first point of contact for customer queries and complaints, taking ownership of issues through to resolution while ensuring clear communication and escalation where needed
- Customer service and order management
Manage the end-to-end order process, including handling customer enquiries, processing sales orders, issuing confirmations and invoices, and coordinating fulfilment to ensure a smooth and timely customer experience
- Systems, data and administration
Maintain accurate customer, order and account data across CRM and internal systems, ensuring all documentation is complete, up to date and compliant with company procedures
- Purchasing and supply chain support
Support purchasing and logistics activities, including raising purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, tracking deliveries and assisting with shipment coordination and import documentation
- Team collaboration and development
Work collaboratively across departments, provide cover during peak periods, and participate in cross-training to build flexibility and capability within the operations team
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Experience in customer service, order processing or office-based role
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Comfortable using CRM systems, spreadsheets and business systems
Desirable
- Experience in sales order processing or customer operations
- Exposure to purchasing, supply chain or logistics
- Experience working with goods, fulfilment or distribution environments
