Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our team during busy weekend periods. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and attention to detail to contribute to a welcoming environment.

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used efficiently and stored properly
Follow health and safety procedures to uphold hygiene standards
Assist with laundry duties as required
Adhere to hotel policies and procedures at all times to ensure guest satisfaction

Skills

Previous hotel experience or familiarity with hospitality standards is desirable
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
Experience in janitorial work or cleaning services is advantageous
Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within allocated shifts
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour conducive to guest relations

This role is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in creating a clean, comfortable environment for guests.

Hours

9am or 10am start
Weekend shifts (Saturday & Sundays)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.71 per hour
