Assistant General Manager – Le Petit Chateau

Luxury Hotel, Weddings & Events Venue

Salary: £32,000- £35,000 pa

Le Petit Chateau is a luxurious hotel and wedding venue set in the quiant village of Otterburn, Accompanied by an onsite restaurtant we have all there is to offer for every side of hospitality. As part of the Apartment Group, we are looking for an exceptional AGM to add to our team to assist with keeping our outstanding reputation.

The Role:

We are looking for a passionate, service led AGM to assist with the day to day running of Le Petit Chateau. You will lead from the front, inspiring the teams and driving standards while assisting our General Manger with the additional needs for running our busines.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering outstanding guest experience at every touchpoint

- Controlling costs across the business

- Setting and maintaining high service and presentation standards

- Overseeing weddings and high-value events from enquiry through to delivery

- Ensuring all health & safety, licensing and compliance standards are met

This is a visible, hands-on role – you will be present in the business, supporting your team and engaging with guests, working closely with the General Manager to maintain and drive standards. In the absence of the GM, you will assume full responsibility for the venue.

About You:

We are looking for an Assistant General Manager with a background in:

· Luxury or boutique hotels

· Wedding venues, destination venues or event-led hospitality

· High-volume, high-expectation environments

- Eager for development in both yourself, the team and the venue.

You will be:

· Guest-focused with a genuine passion for service

· A confident, calm and positive leader

· Organised, detail-driven and professional

· Comfortable managing large teams and busy operations

· Motivated by standards, quality and team development
