Could you provide calm and comfort through the night?

Here at Sense, we support people with complex disabilities to live the life they choose. We're looking for a Waking Night Support Worker to join our small, close-knit residential team in Seaton - one of Devon's most beautiful coastal towns, where the seafront is just minutes from the door.

This is a permanent role working 10 hours per week on a waking night basis, paying £13.00 per hour plus an additional night allowance. Waking night shifts mean you are awake and actively supporting throughout the night, ensuring the people we support are safe and comfortable until the morning team arrives.

Full training is provided, so no previous experience is needed - just the right values and a genuine desire to make a difference.

We are looking for someone who is:

Warm, caring, and empathetic
Calm and reassuring, particularly in overnight situations
Positive, with a can-do attitude
Willing to attend training and develop in their role

This role in Seaton might include supporting people with:

Personal care and hygiene
Medication and wellbeing
Providing reassurance and comfort overnight
Keeping accurate records and handover notes for the morning team
